Wellingborough gears up for Carnival & Party in the Park weekend – a celebration of community, culture and fun!

Wellingborough’s most vibrant weekend of the year is just around the corner! The Wellingborough Carnival & Party in the Park 2025 will take place on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th July in the heart of the town at Croyland Park – promising two days packed with colour, music, dance, food, and family fun.

This much-loved annual event brings the whole community together to celebrate the diversity and creativity of Wellingborough, and this year’s programme is bigger and better than ever.

Saturday 5th July: Carnival Day

The festivities kick off with the spectacular Wellingborough Carnival Parade, which will wind its way through the town centre from midday. Expect vibrant costumes, rhythmic music, and local schools, clubs, and community groups all bringing their energy and spirit to the streets.

The parade will culminate in Croyland Park, where the Carnival atmosphere continues with:

  • Live performances from local groups, bird of prey display and Viking re-enactment.
  • A range of delicious food stalls featuring cuisines from around the world
  • Arts, crafts, stall and activities for all ages
  • Wellness and sports activities
  • Funfair rides and games

Sunday 6th July: Party in the Park

The fun continues on Sunday with the Party in the Park, a family-friendly day of relaxation, entertainment, and good vibes. Bring a picnic blanket, soak up the summer sun, and enjoy:

  • Full line up of live music from local artists and tribute acts including Blondie, Pink & Kylie as well as a steel band and Rock Choir.
  • Children’s entertainment
  • Street food and refreshments
  • Funfair rides and games
  • Roaming characters

Organised in partnership with local volunteers, Carnival committee, and Wellingborough Town Council, this weekend is a celebration of everything that makes the town a great place to live.
