North Northamptonshire business leaders are invited to enter the Wellingborough and North Northants Chamber of Commerce business awards regardless of whether they are Chamber members of not.
The decision comes following conversations with local businesses who expressed a strong desire to participate in this year’s awards which were initially open to Chamber members only and reflects WNNCC’s commitment to representing and celebrating the wider business community.
The deadline for entries has also been extended by four days until midnight on Tuesday, 25 November.
Adam Fox, Vice President of WNNCC, said: “Our Chamber listens, when businesses told us they wanted to get involved, we acted.
“These awards are about celebrating local success stories, and we want every business in our region to have the chance to be recognised.”
Awards in seven categories are up for grabs including Start-Up of the Year, Community Impact Award, and Business Leader of the Year.
The Awards Ceremony will take place on Friday 5th December at Wellingborough Golf Club.
