Corby resident, 9 year old, Pride of Britain 2024 winner of the Child of Courage Award, Florence Bark and her family, set up a charity to help children with cancer, their families, and their education. BE MORE FAB was born!!!
Florrie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia, an aggressive form of cancer when she was just 5 years old. She was given a bone marrow transplant that saved her life, but more hurdles were to come. Their positivity, determination, and hard work won’t allow anything to get in their way.
Janette Weedall, of the Holiday Inn Corby said: “I have honestly never met such an inspirational family. Florrie, now 8 years old, makes podcasts and ‘Florrie Explains’ vlogs to help anyone feeling anxious about cancer treatments. She is cute, hilariously funny, bright, positive, and actually the most incredible little girl EVER!”
